Pierre Heindrich came to our meeting, after having realised, during a meeting organised by WBDM, the impact that design could have on his outdoor furniture business, Kosmos, based in Malmedy. In this extremely competitive market, his wish was to play the innovation card and offer new, more original ranges, while observing the budgetary constraints linked with this type of product for the mass market.
Thinking about mass market furniture.
We travelled to Vietnam to meet the manufacturers, about possibly adapting our design to their production methods. Our challenge was in offering them new things inspired by the universe of design, in urging them to surpass themselves with these new ranges. A design that is closer to the current outdoor furniture trends. We are pleased with this new collaboration and thank Kosmos and Pierre Heindrich for their faith, which allowed us to discover a new facet of the furniture market, one a lot closer to the mass market.
